Redbrick started out as a suburban espresso bar and coffee roastery. Our roaster took pride of place in the shop in the quest to produce consistently delicious coffee. We focused all our energy into sourcing green coffee and building relationships with producers and suppliers that we were proud to work with. We began developing our roasting technique with one clear objective “coffee at its best”.
The first step is research – locating and investing in the highest quality coffee beans from all over the world. Curating what goes into our coffee means that we’re proud of what comes out of our cafes.
Cupping our signature coffees, as well as potential new inclusions ensures that our quality is consistently high, and helps us to create exciting and unique blends.
This is where the magic happens. Our head roaster diligently monitors the roasting process over the course of several hours, ensuring consistent and delicious results.
Once in the café, coffee is put through the highest quality grinders, and each pour is weighed to a specific quantity. The extraction time and output volume are maintained by our baristas, to ensure that we adhere to the recipe set by the head barista every morning.
This is the journey we take to provide you with coffee at its best, and a café experience that is unique to the Red Brick family.
